I started really shopping with coupons 18 years ago when my son was born. I took the money that I saved (just from coupons) and put it into a bank account for my sons college fund. At that point I was putting about $45 a month into the account. Then I joined coupon sense I still only did the amount of coupons..not the store savings..just the amount saved from the coupon that I clipped and the amount that I started putting in was $150 to $300 a month. My son now is a Freshman in college with aspirations to go to medical school and his schooling for the next ten years is completely paid for. I have a daughter that is 14 and another that is 11 I am now doing depositing the savings for them and there should be no problem getting their college paid for as well.

I used to feel like I would leave the grocery store with a dent in my wallet and hardly any food. Now I stock us up on a regular basis and on those weeks when money is really tight, I can just go to my pantry or freezer and use what we have and it doesn't feel like we are scrimping at all like it used to. I am so thankful for the CouponSense community!
