Has anyone else seen the new commercials for JCPenney? There are “Big Changes” coming February 1st. I was able to find this article that goes into a little more detail as to what these changes are. Here are the highlights:
- JCPenney will no longer have weekly sales ads (or weekend sales ads…). All of their prices will be cut 40% or lower creating an “Everyday Low Price”. These will be given a red tag.
- There will be a few items that will be a “Monthly Deal”. These will receive a white tag.
- Items that are on clearance will receive a blue tag and will be called “Best Price” items.
- All items will be rounded up to the next whole number, so instead of something being $19.99, it will be $20.
